OUR BUILD PROCESS

How We Deliver Your Project

From first site visit to final handover — a transparent 4-step process.

01

Step 1

Demolition & Base Prep

Existing deck removed if needed. Compacted gravel base and sand bed laid to proper drainage slope away from pool.

02

Step 2

Coping Edge Installation

Bullnose travertine or concrete coping stones mortared around pool edge — creating a clean, safe boundary line.

03

Step 3

Paver Layout & Installation

French pattern or running bond travertine pavers laid in chosen pattern. Cuts made for curves and radius sections.

04

Step 4

Polymeric Sand & Sealing

Joints filled with polymeric sand, activated with water, and surface sealed for long-term stain and weed resistance.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does travertine pool deck installation cost in Georgia?

Travertine paver pool decks in Athens GA typically cost $18-$28 per square foot installed, including base prep and coping. A 500 sq ft deck runs approximately $9,000-$14,000.

Is travertine or concrete better for Georgia pool decks?

Travertine stays significantly cooler than concrete or brick in Georgia summers due to its natural porosity and light color. It is also more slip-resistant when wet and lasts 25-50 years with proper maintenance.
